ABOUT KACZMAREK & JOJOLA, PLLC

Kaczmarek & Jojola, PLLC represents individuals, businesses, trusts and estates against the I.R.S. and state/local taxing authorities. The Southwest tax law firm’s clients range from large publicly-traded corporations to small businesses, as well as individuals located in over 35 states and numerous foreign countries. The firm focuses solely on defending individual and business taxpayers in IRS audits, collection disputes, trust fund recovery penalty cases, innocent spouse cases, tax litigation, captive insurance, and yacht chartering businesses.

Jojola founded Kaczmarek & Jojola in 2019, continuing a tradition of providing aggressive but discrete representation to individuals and businesses, both large and small. While the firm represents clients from all backgrounds and of varying net worth, all Kaczmarek & Jojola clients have one thing in common: an unresolved tax issue.

Why Choose Kaczmarek & Jojola?

Our experience and singular focus on tax law makes our firm a natural choice to represent you or your business.

Before co-founding Kaczmarek & Jojola, Attorney Kaczmarek served as a senior trial attorney with the IRS in the Las Vegas and Phoenix offices. After leaving the IRS for private practice, Attorney Kaczmarek became certified as a tax specialist and has since been elected to serve as the Chair of the Tax Section of the State Bar of Arizona. Attorney Kaczmarek’s current practice includes tax audits, tax collection, and tax litigation. In addition to his duties with the firm, he also serves on the State Bar’s Board of Legal Certification. Attorney David R. Jojola also began his tax law career with the IRS as a trial attorney in the Los Angeles office. Here, Attorney Jojola successfully managed a heavy and complex caseload in front of the United States Tax Court. He also supervised all cases involving innocent spouse relief across Southern California, providing him with unrivaled experience in this unique practice area. After more than a decade of service with the IRS, Attorney Jojola chose to use the experience and knowledge he acquired while at the IRS to represent individuals and businesses in their tax matters. After leaving the IRS, Attorney Jojola became a certified tax specialist and, in 2017, was elected as a member-at-large by the Tax Section of the State Bar of Arizona. Attorney Jojola now handles a wide range of tax-related issues on behalf of clients, including tax litigation, tax appeals, corporate taxation, excise tax, innocent spouse relief, and payroll tax.
